"In the shadows of a forbidden alchemical order, the Azamina practitioners pursue the ultimate transmutation—the conversion of sin itself into raw power. Their rituals are dark, their methods unspeakable, and their results undeniable. Through Sinful Spoils and cursed catalysts, they transform the battlefield into a crucible of transgression where every moral boundary crossed becomes another weapon in their arsenal."
The Azamina archetype is not a standalone deck, but a highly efficient "Fusion Engine" designed to supplement other top-tier strategies like Snake-Eye and White Forest. Its core function is a "Spell-Fuel" economy, converting "Sinful Spoils" cards into high-level Illusion Fusions.
This system provides search consistency, resilient recursion, and immediate access to powerful disruption, chiefly the omni-negate from Azamina Ilia Silvia and the floodgate power of Queen Azamina. It acts as a shield against "Nibiru" by establishing negation early in the combo sequence.
The Shield. Quick Effect: Tributes itself for an Omni-Negate. Floats into a Trap.
The Searcher. Adds "Azamina" or "Sinful Spoils" on summon. Essential bridge.
The Utility. Sends 1 card on field to GY on summon. Recycles resources in Standby Phase.
Level 8 Breaker. Destroys 2 cards when a Sinful Spoil activates. Revives Illusions.
The Supreme Boss. Contact Fusion. Reduces opponent ATK by 500 per action. Floodgates 0 ATK monsters from activating effects.
Not once per turn: reveal an Azamina Fusion in the Extra Deck and send Sinful Spoils as cost to Special Summon it. Recycles itself endlessly, but only once per turn. Using it twice is a basic play, usually first for Mu Rcielago.
Quick-Play Spell, but Main Phase only. Same effect as Hallowed. Banishes itself from GY to revive an Azamina monster, but not the turn you use the Fusion Effect. You can Set it to use a Deception that was Set by its own effect to fuse during your opponent's turn.
Trap Card. Uses the Sinful Spoils in GY/banishment (they got there because of the fusion spells). Just need to recycle the Azamina cards with Sol Erystechion to have a solid ressource loop. Banishes itself to set "Sinful Spoils" traps from GY, mostly relevant if you mill it through Reasoning as it's a shared once per turn.
Tributes a monster to search Azamina cards. Creates a massive LP swing (3000 differential) over time. Resets itself from grave in the End Phase, but sometimes you'd rather not do that to fuel Determination.
Main Deck connector. Special Summons herself and bridges into Synchro plays. Searches "Sinful Spoils" when used as Synchro Material. Note that Azamina has no in engine Tuners, but Chaos Angel circumvents that.
With Original Sinful Spoils banned, this line repurposes Diabellstar as a pure bridge to the Azamina engine rather than a Snake-Eye starter.
Special Summon Diabellstar the Black Witch by sending 1 card.
Diabellstar effect: Set Deception of the Sinful Spoils directly from Deck.
Activate Deception. Tribute Diabellstar (Cost) to add The Hallowed Azamina.
Activate Hallowed. Send Deception (from field) to GY. Summon Azamina Mu Rcielago.
Mu Rcielago effect: Add Wanted: Seeker of Sinful Spoils (or other Sinful Spoil) for follow-up.
Use Hallowed in GY to shuffle Mu Rcielago back and add Hallowed to hand. Activate Hallowed sending the searched Sinful Spoil. Summon Azamina Ilia Silvia (Omni-Negate).
The new standard 1.5 card combo. Adapts to the banlist by relying on Diabell Queen and Ilia Silvia instead of generic Baronne lines.
Discard 1 Spell/Trap to summon Elzette. Elzette adds Silvy.
Summon Silvy. Silvy adds Tales of the White Forest.
Synchro Summon Rciela (Elzette + Silvy). Rciela sends Tales (Cost) to add Elzette, Azamina of the White Forest. Tales sets itself from GY.
Special Summon Elzette Azamina. Synchro Summon Diabell, Queen of the White Forest (Elzette Azamina + Rciela).
CL1: Elzette Azamina (Search
Deception).
CL2: Diabell Queen (Add back Spell).
Protects search from Ash Blossom.
Silvy effect in GY (Return Rciela) -> Special Silvy. Activate Deception (Tribute Silvy) -> Add Hallowed Azamina.
Use Hallowed to summon Mu Rcielago (Search
Sinful Spoils). Recycle Hallowed. Summon Ilia Silvia.
Result: Omni-Negate (Ilia), Monster
Protection (Queen), Follow-up (Mu).
This line specifically targets aggressive Battle Phase matchups like Tenpai Dragon by using Saint Azamina's targeting protection and battle damage reflection to punish attacks.
Follow the standard White Forest line until you activate Hallowed Azamina. Instead of revealing Ilia Silvia, reveal Saint Azamina (Level 10).
Send 2 Sinful Spoils cards to GY (e.g. Deception + the Sinful Spoils searched by Mu Rcielago).
Alternatively, search Azamina Determination (Trap) earlier. Set it. On opponent's turn, activate Determination to shuffle 2 Sinful Spoils from GY into Deck to summon Saint Azamina.
Saint Azamina (0 ATK / 4000 DEF) is
summoned.
1. Opponent cannot target cards on their field, GY, banishment, or
this card with effects.
2. Any battle damage you would take is instead dealt to
your opponent.
3. Quick Effect, once per turn: if it was Fusion Summoned this
turn, Special Summon 1 Level 9 or lower Azamina monster from your Deck or Extra
Deck.
Standard Endboard: Provides the essential Omni-Negate. Recycles resources if destroyed.
The Floodgate: Opponent monsters lose 500 ATK per activation. Monsters with 0 ATK cannot activate effects.
Going second, prioritize Moa Regina over Ilia Silvia.
Setup: Control Saint Azamina + Ilia Silvia.

The Supreme Darkness set introduced critical support that fixes resource management and adds a new boss monster.
Recycles Sinful Spoils from Banished/GY to field. Ensures Hallowed always has fodder in late game.
New Level 8 Illusion. Treated as "Sinful Spoils" card (can be cost for Hallowed). Revives herself to facilitate Rank 8 plays.
The Azamina archetype itself is largely untouched by the TCG banlist, but key synergistic cards it relies on are affected.
