The Enneacraft archetype introduces a paradigm shift known as "Reactive Obscurity." By fusing the disparate mechanics of Pendulum Summoning and Flip Effects, the deck functions as a psychological minefield. The deck subverts the "Face-Up" nature of modern Yu-Gi-Oh! by forcing a game state where threats are hidden in Face-Down Defense Position, effectively "blanking" common interactions like Infinite Impermanence.
The core win condition revolves around the Sinquisition Counters. As opponents trigger hidden threats, they generate counters which are converted into massive burn damage (900 per counter) during the End Phase via the field spell, accessing the Enneacraft Archives for lethal damage without ever declaring an attack.
"You cannot Special Summon... except in Face-Down Defense Position."
This restriction prevents Link, Synchro, or Xyz plays for the turn but insulates the player from "Turn 0" interruptions. Monsters never hit the field face-up, meaning target-based negates have no legal targets.
1 Counter = 900 Damage
Counters are generated when monsters flip face-up. The field spell, Enneapolis, removes these counters to inflict 900 damage each. A typical turn cycle can generate 3000+ burn damage simply by surviving.
TRIGGER: Hand Effect
The anti-starter. Flips when opponent activates a monster effect in Hand. Destroys 1 monster.
TRIGGER: Search
Punishes Greed. Flips when opponent adds from Deck to Hand. Banishes 1 random hand card.
TRIGGER: Special Summon
The Negate. Flips on Special Summon. Negates 1 face-up monster's effects.
TRIGGER: GY Effect
GY Control. Flips on GY activation. Shuffles 3 cards from opponent's GY/Banishment.
FIELD MARSHAL
Triggers on ANY card activation on field. Flips to change ALL opponent's monsters to Face-Down Defense Position (cannot change battle position). Hard counter to Link/Synchro.
THE FORTRESS
Triggers on destruction effects. Grants blanket destruction immunity to Monsters AND Enneacraft Spells. Burns for every monster sent to opponent's GY.
NORMAL SPELL
The consistency engine. Places an Enneacraft Pendulum Monster directly from Deck to Scale. Bypasses Droll & Lock Bird entirely.
FIELD SPELL
The kill condition. Bounces scales to hand to reuse effects. Recycles flipped monsters. Converts counters into 900 burn damage each.
QUICK-PLAY SPELL
Hand mulligan tool. GY effect allows you to manually flip your own monsters face-up to force their trigger effects on your terms.
