"In the deepest, unregulated sectors of the research facility, the Genetic Modification X project has broken every ethical boundary. They do not merely adapt to their environment; they forcefully splice, mutate, and evolve their biological makeup in real-time. By excavating the raw genetic codes of apex predators and fusing them with cutting-edge cybernetics, the GMX specimens represent the terrifying, unstoppable pinnacle of deterministic evolution."
The GMX cards tell a lab story in their art: two researchers who turn into monsters, a merger, and a Suppression Squad that gets caught up in it. Follow a marked name to walk the trail.
A researcher at Lab #5, with Returned Dino Daneen, an Archaeopteryx, beside her.
The lab in ruins, swallowed by jungle; Selande appears somewhere in its art.
The chairman. Applied Experiment #55 shows his change; ALLOS is what he becomes.
His associate, who becomes VELOX.
Both transformations in one picture: Kimridge into ALLOS, Noma into VELOX.
Kimridge transformed, and a cover card of World Premiere Pack 2026. It appears in 55th Experiment Report.
Noma transformed. It turns up in Suppression Squad.
From Blazing Dominion, the newest GMX set, with VELOX in its art.
ALLOS turning into COMPREX beside VELOX, and all that's left of Kimridge: his ID card and lab coat.
ALLOS, VELOX and the Suppression Squad member they caught, merged into one; all three can be its Fusion Materials. It rampages again in Anti-GMX Final Experiment.
Returned Dino Daneen is in her art too, as in Selande's.
An experiment against GMX itself, with COMPREX, Selandea and Daneen in its art.
The Paradigm Shift: Deterministic Control
The introduction of the Blazing Dominion (BLZD) support has systematically transformed the GMX archetype from a high-variance rogue gamble into a deterministic, highly recursive mid-range combo powerhouse.
Originally defined by chaotic probabilistic excavations that risked massive LP burn, the new architecture weaponizes the excavation mechanic. By introducing field spells that manipulate the top card of the deck, fusion monsters that refund Life Points, and extenders that bypass normal summons, GMX now engineers its mathematical distribution to guarantee precise disruption.

GMX - COMPREX
APEX BOSS (LVL 10 DARK)Requires 1 "GMX" + 2+ Dinosaur monsters. Scales based on materials used:
- 3+ Mats: Untargetable by opponent effects.
- 4+ Mats: Can make up to 3 attacks per Battle Phase.
- 5+ Mats: Opponent loses 800 LP per Normal/Special Summon (Taxing Floodgate).
Missing: 2618725
Partner Selandea
EXTENDER (LVL 5 FIRE)Reveal to SS GMX/Dino from hand. If SS'd by monster effect: SS Lvl 4 or lower GMX/Dino from Grave/Banish. Massive combo lubricant.
Missing: 1595137
Evolved Daneen
RECURSION (LVL 6 WATER)Searches any GMX card on SS. If a card is excavated: Gain 1500 LP (if on field) or SS itself from Grave. Cures the LP burn weakness.
Missing: 39706423
Suppression Squad
DISRUPTION (LVL 4 WIND)SS from hand if controlling GMX/Dino. Target face-up monster, excavate Dino, send to grave -> Target becomes Dino-type. Ruins enemy Link/Synchro climbs.
55th Experiment Report
QUICK-PLAY SPELLFusion Summon. If going 2nd, use 1 mat from Deck. Banish from Grave: Excavate for GMX card to add to hand.
GMX Lab #5
FIELD SPELLFloodgate: Opponent cannot respond to GMX summons. Main Phase: Set GMX Spell/Trap from deck, then place 1 card from hand on top of Deck (RNG elimination).
Anti-GMX Final Exp.
CONTINUOUS TRAPWhen opp activates monster effect: Excavate top 5. If GMX found, negate it, then reorder top/bottom of deck. Combines with Lab #5 for guaranteed negation.
Advanced Deployment Lines
Protocol: COMPREX Ascension
OBJECTIVE: Establish 5-Material Taxing Floodgate
| Phase | Action Performed | Resulting State |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Initiation | Resolve Souleating Oviraptor or Chairman Kimridge. | Acquires Applied Exp. #55 or 55th Exp. Report to hand. |
| 2. Fusion Pivot | Activate Fusion Spell targeting GMX - COMPREX. | Materials excavated. COMPREX established on board with timing intact. |
| 3. Extender Bridge | Deploy GMX Partner Selandea (via reveal or grave revival). | Selandea enters the field, preserving Normal Summon if unused. |
| 4. Recursion | Trigger Selandea's secondary effect upon SS. | Revives Lvl 4/lower GMX/Dino from grave/banished without using hand resources. |
| 5. Terminal State | Convert surplus bodies into Link/Xyz (S:P Little Knight, Evolzar Dolkka). | Untargetable COMPREX + Omni-negates + Opponent taxed 800 LP per summon. |
Dominion End Board
STATE: ABSOLUTE DETERMINISM

Analysis: Lab #5 stacks a GMX card on top of the deck, guaranteeing the excavation condition of Final Experiment for a hard negate. Meanwhile, COMPREX (5 Mats) bleeds out combo decks (Elfnotes, Kewl Tune) at 800 LP per summon.
