The Lunalight archetype is a DARK Beast-Warrior, Fusion-centric strategy renowned for its aggressive, OTK (One-Turn Kill) potential. The deck operates through intricate combo lines that masterfully leverage graveyard effects and resource loops. It revolves around a core ensemble of Main Deck monsters that search, special summon, and recur resources, all building towards the crescendo of summoning their powerful Fusion boss monsters. It's a dance of shadows and moonlight, where every move is calculated to deliver a final, devastating performance. As of the 2026 Legendary ARC-V Decks update, the addition of Lunalight Scarlet Tiger has pushed the archetype beyond its purely linear OTK roots, giving it a handtrap-resilient midrange gear that can salvage a turn even after an early interruption.

The premier starter. Sends a "Lunalight" from Deck or Extra Deck to the GY as cost, setting up entire combos.
The heart of the recursion loop. Bounces a "Lunalight" card to summon itself and searches a Spell/Trap when sent to GY by an effect.
A critical Pendulum extender that revives a "Lunalight" from the GY once per turn.
Level 5 DARK Beast-Warrior, 1900/1500. The deck's handtrap insurance. Special Summons itself from hand whenever a "Lunalight" monster's effect is activated, and if that activation happened on a turn your opponent used a card or effect (i.e. they tried to interrupt you), you also add Polymerization from your Deck or GY. If sent to the GY by a card effect, it Special Summons a "Lunalight" from your GY or face-up Extra Deck with its activated effects negated — but continuous effects, like Liger Dancer's immunity and double attack, remain fully live.
A powerful dual-threat: revives a "Lunalight" from GY and can be banished from GY to search for any "Lunalight" monster.
The archetype's fusion spell. Can use a material from the Deck or Extra Deck if your opponent controls an Extra Deck monster.
A Pendulum monster that acts as a Miracle Fusion, banishing materials from field or GY for a Fusion Summon.

While the Lunalight core remains untouched, the archetype's low to moderate (self-sufficient fusion engine, benefits from Predaplant/Frightfur hybrid builds) means restrictions on generic support cards do have an impact.
Meta Implications: Despite restrictions on support cards, Lunalight's high (can be played pure, hybrid with Predaplant, or mixed with Frightfur engine) allows the deck to remain viable with alternative tech choices.
