"The Nouvelles are dish demons born in a French restaurant's kitchen, whose Ritual Summons create increasingly elaborate dishes of destruction. Each Nouvelles monster tributes the previous course to serve the next, building a multi-course meal of escalating power. Their kitchen is the battlefield, and every opponent is on the menu."
A French restaurant outside the city. There were countless rumors that its dishes were incredibly flavorful, and that after eating them once, you became obsessed. The restaurant was very strict about table manners: apparently, customers with bad manners were eaten by the food demons (The Valuable Book EX 4).

As the hard-working chefs chased a devilish deliciousness for their dishes, it seems actual demons were born.
A bouillabaisse demon with plenty of herbs and aromatics, popular for its deep flavor, how well it went with the bread, and how it raised expectations for the rest of the course.
A white fish poêle demon. The fish came from the local sea and was of very high quality; its sweetness and firmness made it a perfect match for the sauce.

An Archetype Overview
The Nouvelles archetype presents a unique and flavorful approach to Ritual Summoning. Thematically centered around a demonic culinary competition, the deck seeks to dismantle an opponent's board by tributing monsters�including the opponent's own�to serve up its powerful boss monsters. Unlike typical combo decks, Nouvelles engages in a turn-by-turn resource exchange, leveraging its powerful removal and recursion to outlast the opposition through a unique mechanic of "Ritual Climbing".

Strengths
- Potent Removal: The core mechanic of tributing an opponent's Attack Position monster is a powerful form of non-targeting, non-destruction removal that bypasses most forms of protection.
- Resource Recursion: The Field Spell, "Nouvelles Restaurant 'At Table'", creates a sustainable resource loop, allowing you to recycle key cards like "Chef's Special Recipe" for a strong grind game.
- High Skill Ceiling: The deck is non-linear with many decision paths, making it difficult for unprepared opponents to predict and counter your plays.
