"The Power Patrons are divine benefactors who channel celestial authority into devastating battlefield effects, manipulating the fates of entire nations from the shadows."
For eons, the disparate nations—the magical academicians of Artmage, the technological zealots of DoomZ, and the mystical denizens of the Elvennotes realm—were unaware that their deities were actively orchestrating their conflicts.
The young protagonist, Medius, found himself caught in this crossfire when the DoomZ attacked the Acropolis academy during an Artmage succession ritual. After making a desperate sacrifice to protect his companion Finmel, Medius was reborn, drawing the attention of the Patrons themselves. Now, the introduction of the "Shadow Trinity" pendulums and the dark convergence into the Null Realm of Vidria has forced the warring nations to set aside their differences. Together, they must face the true source of their suffering: the divine Pantheon of the Power Patrons.
2026 Update (BLZD & CORI): The introduction of the "Shadow Trinity" pendulums and the Null Realm of Vidria has unified the disparate Medius Lore ecosystems (Artmage, DoomZ, Elvennotes). The paradigm has shifted from hand-advantage mechanics to face-down banishment as a primary cost, unlocking mathematically oppressive end-boards.
The absolute singularity of the deck. On Normal Summon, it searches ANY Power Patron card or Special Summons one from the Deck. Its graveyard effect grants infinite grind game potential.
Requires shuffling 1 Fusion, 1 Synchro, and 1 Xyz to summon. Boasts 5000 ATK. Mandatorily banishes ALL cards in both players' Graveyards Face-Down. Unaffected by non-Power Patron monster effects.
Deity: Nerva, Patron of Creation
Rewrites any Artmage effect into "Destroy all cards your opponent controls". Bypasses targeting protection.
Deity: Jupiter, Patron of Destruction
Uses Equip Spells as ammunition. Destroys cards on field and floats into more resources.
Deity: Junora, Patron of Tuning
Acts as a Skill Drain for the opponent's board on Summon. Locks columns to prevent Link plays.
The new Level 10 Pendulums share a terrifying cost: Banish the top 3 cards of your Deck Face-Down to destroy themselves and cheat out an Extra Deck Boss.
Ignition: SS Nerva (Fusion).
ED Trigger: Special Summon 1 "Power Patron" or "Artmage" from Deck/ED. Solves the historic Artmage normal-summon choke point.
Ignition: SS Jupiter (Xyz) & attach card from hand.
ED Trigger: Add 1 "Power Patron" or "DoomZ" Spell/Trap from Deck to Hand (Searches Vidria or Terminus).
Ignition: SS Junora (Synchro).
ED Trigger: Add 1 "Power Patron" or "Elvennotes" card from ED/GY to Hand. The ultimate recursion tool.
This devastating modern route requires only Medius the Pure (or access via Terminus) and 1 discard.
Normal Summon Medius. SS Power Patron Machine Doom-Z from Deck. Link into Envoy of Pure Prayers, searching the spell Theorealize.
Activate Theorealize to send a 2nd Medius to GY. Revive it using tools like Theorealize Overdrive, modulating levels as needed.
Activate Shade the Obscure from hand. Pay 1000 LP to destroy a Shadow Pendulum scale. The destroyed pendulum is placed face-up in the ED, immediately triggering its effect to tutor/SS without paying the face-down banish cost.
Cascade the ED triggers to establish Nerva, Jupiter, and Junora. Activate Vidria. The opponent's GY is now entirely locked out. Load Terminus into your GY for Damage Step protection.
Utilizes Terminus as a highly searchable ROTA for Darklord Ixchel. Discard Ixchel to draw 2, unbricking hands and loading the GY for Banishment of the Darklords.
Win Con: Insurmountable grind game and using Vidolium as a catastrophic late-game board wipe.
Maximizes Junoldo to loop Elvennotes spells from the GY, bypassing HOPT limits. Skews ED towards Chaos Angel and Crystal Wing.
Win Con: Intense Synchro disruption dodging targeted negation via multi-layered chain blocking.
Treats Jupredo explicitly as a DoomZ card. Uses it as fodder for DoomZ Break - Diactorus, triggering Jupredo in the ED to search Vidria or Terminus.
Win Con: Rapid Xyz climbing to Varudras and aggressive board breaking.

NotebookLM analysis explaining the Medius & Finmel lore, Theorealize combos, and the effective use of the 'Last Shadow' trap.
The Resource Exchange: The "Shade" engine demands a mandatory cost: Banish the top 3 cards of your deck face-down.
Judge's Note (The Shortcut):
If Viraia is in your GY, you can banish it instead to satisfy the ENTIRE 3-card banishing cost for a Shade monster.
The Medius Starter: Use this while controlling an Artmage, DoomZ, or Elfnote card to Special Summon Medius the Pure directly from the deck.
Special Summon any Patron from the GY or Extra Deck and banish opponent resources based on the variety of monster types you control.
Requires 2 non-Link monsters. Represents Finmel transforming to save Medius.
Center Zone Strategy: While she is in the center Main Monster Zone, only center zone monsters can declare attacks.
Mass Swarm: As a Quick Effect, she can return to the ED to Special Summon 3 "Elfnote" monsters (1 each from Hand, Deck, and GY) for massive swarm potential.
