The Medius Saga

The Power Patron (Gokushin) archetype represents the pinnacle of "Tier 0" design in the 2026 cycle. Centered around the dimension-hopping protagonist Medius the Pure, the deck does not rely on a single mechanic but rather bridges all Extra Deck methods into a cohesive "Divine Convergence."

Through the "Shadow Patron" pendulum scales, the deck bypasses traditional summoning locks, cheating out massive boss monsters from the Power Patron Archives directly from the Extra Deck. This creates a board that wipes resources (Fusion), destroys threats (Xyz), and locks zones (Synchro) simultaneously.

Strategic Core

  • Fusion: Board Wipes & Rewrites
  • Xyz: Equip Destruction & Floating
  • Synchro: Column Locks & Negates
  • Pendulum: The Bridge Mechanic

The Divine Pantheon

Medius the Pure
Missing: 97556336

Medius the Pure

PROTAGONIST / STARTER

The absolute singularity of the deck. On Normal Summon, it searches ANY Power Patron card or Special Summons one from the Deck. Its graveyard effect allows it to shuffle a card from hand/field to revive itself, granting infinite grind game potential.

Artmage (Fusion)

Nerva the Power Patron of Creation
Missing: 53589300

Deity: Nerva, Patron of Creation

Rewrites any Artmage effect into "Destroy all cards your opponent controls". Bypasses targeting protection.

DoomZ (Xyz)

Jupiter the Power Patron of Destruction
Missing: 68231287

Deity: Jupiter, Patron of Destruction

Uses Equip Spells as ammunition. Destroys cards on field and floats into more resources.

Elvennotes (Synchro)

Junora the Power Patron of Tuning
Missing: 5914858

Deity: Junora, Patron of Tuning

Acts as a Skill Drain for the opponent's board on Summon. Locks columns to prevent Link plays.

The Power Patron strategy is modular. Your opening hand and the opponent's board dictate which "Dimension" you access.

Jupiter the Power Patron of Destruction
Missing: 68231287

Junora the Power Patron of Tuning
Missing: 5914858
LOCK
"The convergence of three dimensions allows for a game state where the opponent has no safe zones, no graveyard resources, and no safe activations."

Strategic Dominance

  • The Bridge Theory: Unlike decks locked to one mechanic, Power Patron fluidly adapts. If Artmage (Fusion) is stopped, it pivots seamlessly to DoomZ (Xyz) via the Shadow Patrons.
  • Recursion: Medius shuffling itself back means you never run out of grind game.
  • The Vidrium Option: Against GY-reliant decks (Snake-Eye, Fire King), Vidrium is an instant win condition by banishing all resources face-down.

Meta Considerations

  • Medius Dependency: While powerful, the deck relies heavily on resolving Medius. A well-timed Droll & Lock Bird or banishing Medius (Bystials) can halt the engine.
  • Complexity: The non-linear combo lines require high pilot skill. Mismanaging the "Shadow Patron" order can accidentally lock you into the wrong Extra Deck type.
