  1. Chi flows through the earth, splitting into countless streams and gathering again; where it swells, it takes the form of a dragon. Warriors who drew on these Dragon Veins called their discipline the Tenyi style, and its innermost secret, harmony with the earth's chi, is Flawless Perfection.
  2. The Tenyi style controls nature's power without disrupting it. Tales of those who reached Flawless Perfection are more legend than history, but a few took a step toward it and passed their teachings on.
  3. Now two young people wield chi. One, a boy who fights with his fists, harmonized with the earth chi, Tenyi Spirit - Adhara, by channeling it into his fist.
  4. The other, his sister in apprenticeship, shapes dragons with her fan: the water, fire and wind chi Shthana, Mapura and Nahata. Controlling three at once makes her the closest to Flawless Perfection in her generation.
  5. But Tenyi history also tells of a man who trained his body to the extreme and overpowered the chi rather than harmonize with it: the Berserker. His Unrivaled Tenyi drained the Dragon Vein for power, and he was banished as a heretic.
  6. Then he returned, after years worth more than a human lifetime: a body chiseled like rock, snake-like hair, two horns, scaled arms. "Your Flawless Perfection is no match for my Unrivaled Tenyi."
  7. The two landed hundreds of strikes, and every one bounced off his fortified body. It wasn't even a battle: he swatted them away like flies and walked off.
  8. Their master revealed two secrets: the Berserker draws on the chi of darkness that festers where anger and vengeance pool, and those who meet it can receive a dragon of light. At a sacred, forbidden place, the two proved their worth, and Ashuna, the chi of light, appeared.
  9. When they meet the Berserker again, he may be even stronger than before…
